Description

A machinist’s dream come true. The overall body of the engine and the larger parts were scanned with Artec Eva, while Space Spider was used to capture the more intricate details and geometry. The reflective metal surfaces of the engine posed no difficulty for either Eva or Space Spider, and all details, as well as their shapes and contours, have been meticulously captured. Such a precise level of exactness makes this model ideal for reverse engineering or inspection purposes. The 90 minutes’ processing time in Artec Studio was used to seamlessly integrate the multiple scans into one unified 3D model ready for export to CAD/CAM software.
