Description

A replica of a spinal vertebra, scanned with Eva. Although being slightly larger than the original, this object still disproves the myth that Eva is suitable only for large objects. The scanning time of 1 minute was sufficient to capture the complex range of contours and shapes of this bone, including the circumference of the vertebral foramen, across the spinous process, the lamina, and both transverse processes. Pitting across the surface of the object has been authentically captured, together with the original object’s natural tonal range. After the brief scanning process, the scans were merged and aligned in Artec Studio in just 3 minutes, resulting in this impressive 3D model.
