Description

This model of a motorcycle’s upper triple clamp, also known as yoke, was scanned with Artec Space Spider in just 5 minutes. Parts like these are a perfect demonstration of what the blue-light 3D scanner is capable of: Designed for working with small mechanical parts and organic shapes with metrological accuracy, the scanner managed to capture all the tiny elements, multiple holes of different diameters, shiny metallic finish, and hidden areas. With just a few quick turns around the clamp to capture all sides of the object, the model was ready to be processed in Artec Studio, and then to be converted into a solid CAD model for reverse engineering, or used as is for quality inspection, design, and more. Zoom in or rotate the model to inspect it from every angle!
