Sci-fi Miniature Feeder Belt Mold

£12.74

This is a two part mold intended to create a flexible green stuff feeder belt model.

The default scale will make a 6.2mm x 2.3mm x 74mm part.

The molding process is as follows:

1. Brush the internal surfaces of mold with vegetable oil. You are looking to make the surface shiny but don’t want the oil to pool.

2. Mix the green stuff as normal and roll in to a snake about 3mm in diameter.

3. At this point if you want to include wire, wrap the snake around your wire and place the wire ends in the channels at either end of the mold.

4. Place the snake in the bottom mold and place the top mold making sure to match the shapes.

5. Force down the top of the mold until it seats fully and apply clamps.

6. After fully cured, carefully pull the mold apart.
