Description

Every dog’s dream. This is a 3D model of a working fire hydrant on a street in Palo Alto, California. To scan it, we used an Artec Eva connected to an Artec battery and a tablet for complete freedom of scanning.

By zooming closer to the model, you can see the beautiful level of detail captured in a scan that took only 2 minutes from start to finish, and merely another 8 minutes for processing. Every curve and surface and contour has been captured in remarkable color 3D. Even with the irregular lighting conditions present in a street scan, the quality of Eva’s data was so high that very little processing was needed.
