Description

A quick self-scan of the scanning technician’s eye. A very noticeable thing here, aside from the superb geometry of the eyelid and skin, is that Space Spider has scanned past the natural eye lens and captured the correct position of the iris, which is slightly deeper than it seems. And this scan took just one minute to perform!

The accurate and lifelike nature of the scanning is immediately obvious here, where the 3D model appears as if you’re catching a glimpse of a real person frozen in digital 3D. All the pores and wrinkles and lines and skin pigmentation, as well as eyebrows and eyelashes, are faithfully present in this remarkable model.
